Laura Bricout, manager at Ad Valoris, shares her experience in this profession and her feelings about the consulting world, which she joined after more than 14 years in business.
1. What do you enjoy about being a manager at Ad Valoris?
Firstly, it’s the partnership relationship that is created with the client. I enjoy this role because when we are given a mandate, we must compose the piece with the client, bring it to life with the teams, and conduct the orchestra. As the main point of contact between the client and the Ad Valoris team, we ensure that an appropriate operational setup is put in place to enable them to achieve the expected results.
Another strong point is the trust of the management when piloting our mandates. We remain supported while having great diversity in how we achieve the objective, working methods, environments, and subjects. This autonomy allows for innovative and tailored thinking in the co-creation of solutions with the client.
Finally, what I enjoy is being able to work with a particularly talented and very complementary team of consultants. I am always impressed by the strength of the collective mobilised to transform an objective into a concrete and applicable deliverable. What makes Ad Valoris strong is the follow-up put in place to ensure that each team member is in the best conditions to give their best.
2. What is the best advice you could give to someone who wants to join the consulting firm?
The first word that came to mind is “dare.” My experience of over 14 years in the business world, project management, and organisation has been valued since I turned to consulting and joined Ad Valoris. With each new mission, client, or environment, it’s a new challenge, which makes the daily routine stimulating both professionally and personally.
Ad Valoris is a human-sized firm with team and fulfilment values for each of its members. We can evolve in a stimulating environment that offers a framework and support for our development and autonomy.
So, you should dare because to me, it is a stimulating playing field, a source of professional, personal, and collective fulfilment that has confirmed my decision to turn to consulting.

Why join the firm?
